The STIHL AX 16 S forestry axe is ideal both for delimbing and light to medium-duty splitting work. Felling work can also be carried out safely and reliably. The handle is made of robust, durable and resilient hickory wood and is manufactured to a high standard. This forestry axe has an impact protection sleeve and a retaining plate, making it less likely to fail. In total the axe is 70 cm long and weighs 1,550 g.

The AX 16 S forestry axe has been given the KWF quality mark of Kuratorium für Waldarbeit und Forsttechnik e.V. (Forestry and forestry technology advisory board).

Note: For your own safety, do not use this forestry hatchet to drive in steel splitting wedges. Steel must never be used to hammer onto steel.
